Estimator - Civils



Estimator



A busy and long established specialist main contractor working for major blue chip multi national clients in the retail petroleum and motor manufacturing sectors require an experienced Estimator.



You will be a conscientious and experienced individual who will report directly to the MD. You will prepare submissions for works ranging from small works up to a £3m motorway service area. Average contracts circa £0.5M.



The company have a turnover of circa £10m and work on a repeat basis for a number of clients(oil companies and supermarkets ,BMW , Rolls Royce etc) so negotiate many contracts or tender in limited competition. The company carries out all of its own groundworks and civils eg tank installation , earthworks , demolition , pavings , drainage , services etc and subcontracts superstructure trades , and so a candidate with strong knowledge of both civils and building trades is required.



Enthusiasm, professional presentation skills and a good work ethic will be very important to fit the culture of a hard working and committed staff base who take a pride in the service we give our clients.



This is a great opportunity for an intelligent and versatile candidate who is also prepared to become involved in some of the administrative aspects of projects post contract.



Based near Oxford the company provides services on a nationwide basis, though the post will be office based.
